Went out to this Arts Fest thing on campus today and while I was walking around, I saw a fucking hitmonlee come up in the nearby thing.
Started walking around to find it, and wound up at the corner of this garden where there were 6 or so other people sitting around trying to catch the damn thing.
Shit was fun. Then I wound up chasing a beedrill for a while but it disappeared before I could get to it.

There's a gym right up the street from home that I had been fighting over along with some anonymous bros, but as of this evening there's a level 21 trainer with a CP 1494 Flareon and the gym is level 6. Taking it over is going to take a lot more grinding.
Metapod is common? I see Caterpies, Weedles, Kakunas, even a wild Beedrill, but I have yet to see a single Metapod. I found a goddamn Ivysaur in the wild, but no Metapod.
