Nah, I'm not really a fan of it either. It looks like someone made some random brush stroke in photoshop, then slapped it in the game 2 seconds after. It's lazily done on otherworldly terms, it'd look so much better if they had done so much as add a gradient.

Obviously they were going for "le minimalistic random art" and failed miserably
Same with the wild battle theme it is obnoxious
The UI also looks like shit
