Did any of you even go see this movie when it came out in theatres?
Not at theaters but I did see it with a bunch of kids at a Media Play way back when.

I saw all 3 in cinemas when they came out, but being a britkid I kind of lost interest in the movies and the anime from the point that movie 4 didn't get a UK theatrical release.

I remember some faggot kid behind us was shouting a play-by-play of the entire movie at his mother (and everyone else in the theater).
I kept looking back at him/his mother so he'd shut up. It didn't work.

Yeah, my dad took me to see it, I think I was 3/4, I got a Poliwhirl and a Charizard plushie from the claw machine at my local cinema and one of those lollipops with the Psyduck and Kanto starters inside afterwards. I was happy back then.

When I was a kid, my cards all got stolen at a league a few weeks before the Pokemon mall tour event. The guy running the desk at the event gave me a handful of the promo Jigglypuffs (the mall tour was used to give away all of the promo puffs that went unordered) that I used to trade and rebuilt my collection. That card was very sought-after at the time.

Theatre had a line with arout 100, 200 people. It was beside a chinese restaurant, so people went in there as they were waiting.
2 and 3 played in the same theatre, t'was full everytime (but not as much as the original movie), after that it went bankrupt. Probably because of the competition such as the chinese restaurant.

I saw it many times (with my brother) to get all the promo cards. I lost them all except Dragonite though, probably because it's the one I had the most duplicates of. I still have my VHS Mewtwo promo though, along with my (badly creased) ancient Mew.
