People aren't upset over others playing Go. They're upset that it's getting spammed here more than MLP spammed /v/ before they actually banned that shit.

Because at one point there were four GO Generals running at a single time, and half of the other active threads were also GO related. We don't hate that people are enjoying it, we hate that it's becoming (or at least was, it seems to have calmed down a bit now) almost impossible to discuss anything other than GO here, and any threads not related to it are inevitably pushed into obscurity after another huge batch of GO threads flood the catalog.
