What is the commercial trying to convey? That SM is literally Pokemon GO and you can catch mons depending on where you are? Otherwise I dont see the point of the kid being outside in all those different places.

Maybe because I watched it more than once but it clearly shows that the kids lost then he trained and learned from life then he won. Pretty basic things anybody should have picked up on.
