Because it's constantly shoved down your throat. It gets a shitty clone every generation, appears in every piece of Pokemon- related media, and now has even more Pokemon based on it. I like its design, but it would be much cooler if it had a few other costumes, which wouldn't be hard at all for game freak to implement.
