Snarky point-scoring posts aside, what I really actively dislike about this is the complete lack of detail to anything at all. I get they're trying to return to Gen 1 levels of simplicity and not the clusterfucks that were a lot of things in gen 4 - 6 but when everything on it is just a simple shape with zero detail on the paws or feet (not to mention it's completely expressionless) it's as though they genuinely can't strike a balance between underdesigning things and overdesigning.
