Hell no Nintendo will keep making Home Consoles even if the NX fails. Handhelds Consoles tho, i think this is it for them. I can't honestly see an 9th Generation of Consoles with Dedicated Handheld Consoles, Sony already gave up and i think its Nitendo's turn to do it. Only thing stopping them is the the Main Pokemon Games, i mean they need to put it on soemthing

I personally think it would be cool if Nintendo entered the smartphone market. I mean, it won't happen and it would be a terrible idea, but I still would love to rep a nintendo smartphone.

They might not. I think they've burned too many bridges for the nx to fail. I feel like very few people will trust nintendo if they buy yet another console with nothing but some first party games, which have been getting worse and worse for the most part.

Why would they give up handhelds? They generate too much money for Nintendo to drop. The handheld market and mobile market do differ despite the similarities between the devices.

How can anyone have less faith in Nintendo as handheld manufacturer than a home console manufacturer. Handheld market was reduced to much smaller but sustainable size.
