I am emulating Pokemon Stadium. Is there any way I can use Gameshark codes or something to create my own Pokemon to use, or am I stuck with rentals?

You need to download some specific plugin. Believe it's called NRage, there's various versions of the file.
But anyways, you'll need to emulate one of the GB games, gen some pokemon using gameshark codes, etc, then load that save into Stadium using the transfer pak plugin.I have a couple GB saves with all the Pokemon with cookie cutter sets I think. If you want I can find them and upload.
