FE has the option to speed up animations by holding a button or to skip them entirely by hitting Start. I'm going to find it hard to come back to having to watch everything once SM comes around.

Disgaea starts at the single digit level, friend. A naked level one character doesn't usually have over 15 or so in a stat, and most have much lower. A level one warrior with his plastic sword deals about 6 damage in those first stages.
