I like Crustle. Amoongus is okay.
The Gen 5 ones I'm more disappointed in are Vanillite and Klink, they're nice but their evolutions are just kind of meh.
I'm sure I've complained about other evolutions in the past but i can't think of any off the top of my head.Dragonair I guess i agree with.
It's just so cute!HOWEVER
The only bad evolutions are the "it just get bigger" things.

I quite like Crustle, actually. Didn't for a while, but it definitely grew on me. I 100% agree on Dragonair, though. One of my all time favorites, and then Dragonite... it just... eh...
Big ones for me are Dewott, Frogadier, and Sealeo. Love the fuck out of these three, but their evolutions... I mean Greninja's alright I guess? Could have been miles better. Samurott had a cool idea but just flopped into a big awkward mess. Walrein... nothing really wrong with it, it just doesn't go where I wanted it to after seeing Sealeo keep the adorable from Spheal.

Agreed. Aegislash always bugged me. Twinswords become one big sword... that holds a shield and... attacks by karate chopping? I know it can swing itself like a sword, but it usually doesn't. It's just weird, like they had a good idea but weren't sure how to go about it.

I don't dislike Hydreigon, I just like its pre-evolutions more. I wish Hydreigon stayed shaggy and didn't lose a head.

We finally get a legit alien mon that's not banned in every (official and unofficial) format, and it's total garbage.
Gen 5's Psychic types are way too similar to one another. Anything Beeheeyem can do, Reuniclus, Musharna and Gothitelle can do better.
Really like Dragonair and Haunter way more than their respective evolutions. Garchomp is ok, but I prefer Gabite. Also Braixen because degenerate.

I don't care for Hydreigon either. It's got little sock puppets for hands and tire tracks for markings. I'm for sure autistic for this, but I would like its design so much more if it just had three actual heads.
