Im in the UK and people are playing it a lot. Every park i've been to has had atleast one person playing Go which is suprising.
I dislike the gym system though. Only being able to put one pokemon down while challengers can use a whole team really annoys me. They need a gym leader type scenario whee the leader can put up to 5 or 6, and the others work as gym trainers who can put up to 2 or 3 pokemon, to make it feel like a gym in game. The hold attack has to charge. The number of segments mean you can use it that many times with a full bar. Its a matter of spamming weak hits or saving up for a big hit.
