It's because the people who come on here are nerds, whether they're full on REEEs or normalfags, and nerds have a high aggressive capacity for a need to feel superior due to some level of abuse in their life, from girls, school, society, etc etc
It makes them want to fish for arguments, and that applies to any topics. On /pol/ I get it because it's politics but this is Pokemon, the only thing we should be fighting over is speculation and actual pokemon fighting
All the gens were great, each newer one better than the last because they build on a base formula that is fun in the first place with newer innovations and ideas

Since ORAS makes it to where a Fly HM user is optional, I was actually able to take Zangoose for a spin on my playthrough. I was surprised at how much it murders in game. Also helped that I managed to find and catch one with a speed boosting nature.
