Do it all over again tomorrow and level up. Higher trainer level will mean higher CP pokemon, and with each pokemon you catch you get candy and stardust to evolve and level up your 'mons.
If you live in an area populated enough to find pokemon regularly (I can drop incense in my house and grind out pidgeys and spearows along with a couple other assorted species), then your main worry is just keeping stocked on pokeballs and eggs and finding gyms. If you don't have any notable markers close to you it can be tough to do that.
