Yeah. It makes sense for pokemon like zubat and ekans since they're flesh and blood creatures and venomous animals can still be poisoned. But how do you poison something like a garbodor or muk, which is basically made of poison?

Except every move being inverted is already a feature in the game that was implimented, so it's not too complicated for the youngsters if it already got approved. An ability would just turn battles starring that Pokemon into the same kind of battles already in the game.

It doesn't say explicitly "it can't still fight normally while asleep," because that would be a bit odd to have to point out. If that's how Comatose worked, they would've said so specifically. Comatose just makes it so the only status that affects it is Sleep. And probably Confusion, because it's never really counted as a Status like the others.
