Is this based off a specific type of origami or something? Nothing about its design suggest it's made of folded paper at all. It looks more like crystals. Also the entire point of origami is the figure is made of one piece, so it shouldn't have floating doodads or the belt of weird amulets(?) in the second form. Basically nothing about this design says origami at all, or ghost/fairy for that matter.
Needs a big rework. Flatten out its body, drop the crystals, maybe give it a crane-like appearance since that's everyone's first association with origiami.
