Voted for Infernape. It's just so fun to use in D/P/P. While fire fighting kinda got dull later, it's a useful combination and Infernape learns good stab moves just about the time the old ones start to get weak. Most starters have a kinda lackluster midgame movepool when they have to use moves like ember all the way until they get moves like flamethrower, but Infernape gets both flame wheel and brick break midgame which really makes it one of the few starters that is really good at any time. Also learns alot of TMs and has good mixed stats, so everything you're gonna teach it is going to hurt.
