I post my 626 pidgeot at a nearby gym and train at it until the gym reaches level 4. I then decide to head home, which only took around 5 minutes. Once I'm back home, I check my phone and see that my gym is suddenly occupied by 3 reds using ~300 cp pokemon. How did this happen so quickly? Pic related, but was taken before my gym reached level 4

At least you can battle gyms. Every gym I've encountered has the 1 hp glitch.

And I actually just remembered that you can switch out pokemon when challenging gyms. When training at your own gym, you can only use one pokemon through the whole fight. That explains how they could beat my pidgeot with lower cp mons...Damn that's actually disappointing

The gym by my house is three red dudes using birds and pinsir all under 200CP. I went there with my 674CP vaporeon and on last battle I couldnt get the pinsir to die. It stopped attacking. Just stood there till time ran out.

I somehow held a gym in San Jose for 2 weeks with a Hitmonchan during the beta. That was fun; so many defender bonuses.
