Pretty much what I'm planning to go with. Drampa and Salandit are the only Gen 7 Pokemon which interest me at the moment. Only using Popplio because I always use Water starters. Vikavolt is cool but not really my favorite but I'll probably use it if there's nothing else I like this gen.

Salandit and Rockruff will be on my team for sure. I also like Vikavolt (I think that's it's name) but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it or not. If we don't get a better looking bug or electric type I most likely will use it since I don't use legendaries. Either Pikapek or Rowlett will likely make it on my team too because I always have a flyer on my main team. I just haven't decided if I'm starting with Rowlett or Poppolio yet.

I won't know how it be until I play. I try to get decent type coverage while also being biased towards mons I like while also not going too much out of my way and using what I have access to, so I really can't say. Not even sure on my starter, split between Litten and Rowlet.

Although I tend to just pick up and play, if I were forced to pick a team from what we've seen;
Rowlet/Vikivolt/Drampa/Salandit/Maybe that route 1 doggo.
This most likely isn't the final selection, but I'd actually be pretty happy if it did end up being what I used. Cutiefly will likely be replaced by a cuter, pinker Fairy, and Salandit could be replaced by a more purple Poison. Bruxish is on the short-list to leave, too, if Popplio's evos are good and if there ends up being a flower Pokemon to replace Rowlet with.
