Arbok can be a lot of fun, and very good. I like to use a coil set with gunk shot, crunch and either earthquake or seed bomb for coverage, add leftovers and shed skin and it works wonders

All its mega would need to do is give it more bulk. It already has a great movepool and solid typing. It's just too frail to properly set up.

How so? Arbok's only real failing is that his stats are just too low to do much of anything with his fantastic learnset. In that sense he'd be a prime candidate for a Mega.
I've always had a soft spot for Arbok since the first pokemon thing I ever had of Pokemon was an Ekans card from '99. I used Arbok in Soulsilver too. He's such a bro, it's just too bad about his stats. He's my favorite poision type I think.
