Even with Aegislash monoGhost was barely usable, now it's just complete shit. It's pretty diverse on paper, but simply lacks heavy-hitters other types have.

The reason I never bothered with Smogon's mono-type meta, more than anything, was that they insist on shoehorning it into their brand of 6 vs. 6 single battles. Doubles, triples — hell, even 3 vs. 3 single battles would all be better for such a limited pool of available Pokemon.
