I could even get black 2 to work on desmume normally, why not heartgold?
DS emulators aren't slow, I can run heartgold on my four year old phone

I have the original R4 card from like 10 years ago and it works perfectly fine. I just upgraded it to R4 wood and it works like a dream. Yours should work, too. I even got mine to run Flawless Platinum, Storm Silver, Volt White, and Volt White 2.
