I agree that serperior is the best starter and should have a grass/dragon typing but that rendition is fucking abysmal. That being saidin, my opinion the entire 5th gen was a clusterfuck of terrible design decisions and had some of the worst looking Pokemon in the series. I feel like they used up all of their creativity with gen 4 (which was near perfect design wise) and Nintendo threw some more money at them and was like "so what's next?" And the started drawing literal garbage (i.e. trubbish)
