Someone in Britain complained about "gambling" in the games or something and now we don't get game corners no more

Ratings board changes and perhaps even laws in some countries led to the Game Corner being stripped down in certain regions for DPPt, and everywhere outside Japan just got Voltorb Flip for HGSS because the "Game Machines" in DPPt were total bullshit, after HGSS they just decided no more Game Corners.

Even as a person who regularly defends most of the choices GF makes, the company being lazy, IS a real problem.
Pokemon Battle Revolution essentially had N64 graphics on it because GF couldnt be bothered to update the models for a simple wii game. Its not like they had the excuse that it was a full pokemon adventure, it was just a way to battle with your pokemon in 3D on the big screen.
SM shows we will most likely be stuck with the same animations of X and Y, which means tiny ass Wailord and awful flying Xatu will stick with us for god knows how long.

They always scrap content instead of improving it, while i get that they try for every game to be a different experience with the gimmicks there are certain things that should be in every game, like seasons and ambient noises.
This problem with PEGI could've been easily solved and this was the perfect opportunity to bring the game corner back since Hoenn has secret bases thus allowing us to buy special pokedolls in it but they just decided to put a 'fuck you' note

they could have put slots in for every version but the PAL one
they could have just replaced it for some arcade or other minigame for all versions
