I know, but Ice only resisting itself is fucking retarded, regardless of whether it's meant to be a hyper offense type. Especially since most Ice mons are designed defensively.
That's why all the best ones competitively are offensively inclined, while defensive ones are all in RU or lower, except Lapras I guess (great tank btw).
It'll always be my favorite type, and I've even been able to win many battle spot matches with mono Ice teams, but I'm feeling so targeted by GF hating them so much.

I don't think you read the whole post. I said I've played successfully enough to actually win repeatedly with a mono ice team, only really losing to teams packing more than one check like Scizor and M-Lucario. Although, generally, I'll just use one or two in an otherwise varied team.
Bottom line, I just wish the type chart was more balanced, but I can still use ice mons fine regardless, fgt.
