I'm five Pokemon away from a living dex (except a legit Volcanion since Japan doesn't want us to have him.) I want to know how much higher the chance of a shiny is after getting the shiny charm, how often to do see them and are there any other ways of increasing the chances other than foreign breeding?

I think it triples it, to around 1/1361. Masuda method brings it up to 1/512

you do know you dont need event legendaries for the shiny charm right?
it increases your chance to find shinies by 300% (1/4096 to 1/1365)

Is that with foreign breeding? While breeding for most of my Pokemon I found three shinies, either I was extremely likely or the foreign breeding increases it by more than I expected.

Masuda without shiny charm takes it to 1/613 i think the figure was. Thats not exact but its ball park. Masuda with shiny charm takes it to 1/512 like >>26952152 said.

Nope, its 1/683 using masuda method without charm. 1/1365 for shiny charm alone is the correct number.
