Is Riolu/Lucario going to be part of every regional dex from now on, barring another "soft reboot" ala BW?
lucario is going to be a gym leader this gen and when you beat him he gives you himself and his mega stones

Exists other Pokémon that have appeared in all regional dex since their first game, and not precisely very popular Pokémon. Obviously many people don't realize of these Pokémon.
I do I realized it, because my favorite isn't popular and it is in all Pokédex since its first appearance in Hoenn.
I don't dislike Lucario I just wish they had the same love for Zoroark

There aren't any good Zoroark plushies unfortunately. There's a couple good Zoruas, though.

Can confirm the game will force you to release a Mon regardless of whether you have room or not, likewise since said Lucario can see aura he will also take it upon himself to release all the Pokemon in your party that do not have 6 perfect iv's and the corresponding nature. And gf will force him on your team at all times, and he will not allow a Pokemon unless it is absolutely perfect and is either a riolu or a lucario. This is all to foreshadow the end of pokemon and to usher in the reboot of pokemon named Lucariomon. In which every pokemon (that will be renamed to lucariomons) will be lucario variants wich are caught with lucario balls.

Zoroark didn't take off because they made it unreasonably hard to initially get one. That or you get one owned by someone else or you get one so late in the game you don't need one anymore as it's role has already been filled.
In contrast to Riolu which you can find on the corner of some grass sucking dick early on. They give you one as an egg so it won't be owned by anyone else. Then finally they give you Lucario fully evolved and owned by you with a complementary fuccboi stone.
