Isn't levitate to hover or suspend oneself in the air in an almost supernatural manner? I guess the Japanese name of the ability "Floating" would be more compatible for both cases where its magic levitation like Claydol or clearly flapping wings but no room for Flying-type like Flygon and Vikavolt

At this point Levitate should be scrapped as an ability and give some sort of "flying status" to the pokemon that can obviously fly/float but aren't part flying.
Hell, the whole ability system should be redesigned.

Competitively, levitate means that if this thing is the fast frail sp. attacker everyone is saying it is, then it will have more opportunities to switch in and start killing things. Could be worse, it could have something awful like static.

Grubbin and charjabug are clearly physical (attack>sp attack), Charjabug will increase attack when hit by electric moves.
Vikavolt is a taser (makes contact)- it will be a speedy physical attacker with wild charge and x scissor. Let the cries for "Volt Tackle Vikavolt" begin soon.
