People think large filesize means more gameplay but really it just means that it'll have a lot of uncompressed data.
It could be 1.8GB, or it could be 900MB. It all depends on how well they've optimized the engine.

well we know that SM is a pretty pumped game for the 3DS, expecially now that the chibi style is gone
Under 2GB. Unless Game Freak decided SM needed a ton of video cut scenes in the game.
