You know what really pissed me off about this roadblock? The blackout is caused by team flare invading the power plant, but the game is programmed to let you pass only after you met AZ(who has absolutely no purpose being there). This means that if you fly after defeating team flare at the power plant you won't still be able to pass.

Ahh, gotcha. Don't get me wrong, Gen 6 as a whole did a couple things right, but was a piece of shit overall. This was the only Gen that I never wanted to replay any of the games. I played through Gen 5 like 4 times, but I can't even bring myself to finish Omega Ruby's postgame because everything is so goddamed easy to do/find.
And don't get me fuckin started on XY postgame. The only good thing in that shit was the Panda Hat.
