Bruxish is basically just a trigger fish, though. Trigger fish are tropical warm salt water fish that have lips, big almost always visible teeth, and come in crazy vibrant colors. Yellow and Magenta are common colors in some species of trigger fish. The only thing not Trigger fish related in Bruxish is it's lure, which when it opens looks like a flower of something, so it's probably there just to add to the gaudiness of it. They definitely want you to see this thing and think it's over the top colorful and gaudy.

I think it's probably a combination triggerfish and angler fish. Couple folks have suggested they might go for a siren theme, assuming it evolves, playing around with the idea of this gaudy, feminine sea creature that lures in prey with its illicium instead of a song. Might be cool. I hope it's not just a single-stage 'mon, that would be such a waste.
