Assuming the zygarde in the video had a 31 hp iv and no hp EVs that would make 100%'s base hp around 200.
>>
>>26924127
50% Zygarde has 31HP IV in the trailer by the way, which means Perfect Zygarde has 216 base HP. And it will most likely have slighly buffed defenses as well.

If all stats double:

HP 216
Atk 200
Def 242
SpA 162
SpD 190
Spe 190

For a total of 1200 BST, pls John t. Gamefreak, make it happen!

That's no surprise, with the doubling of HP it should at least have 708 base stats compared to 50% form. But it will have increased stats for sure. Maybe its Tretta stats could mean something, it has slightly more stats than Mega Rayqyuaza.

Without counting the energy Mega Rayquaza has 914 total stats, Zygarde has 1388.
If you make the proportion with 780 you find 1184.

Oh well...

But Mega Rayquaza might be one of the only counters to it, most other physical attackers will fail to take it out in one hit if it manages to recover.

But what happens when it get Core Enforcer? Will it be a 5th move or will a certain move slot move be temporarily be replaced?

I've been looking for something like that for months

>>
>>26924127
have any of you considered that maybe they boosted zygarde stats?
>>
>>26925283
Thanks!

Also, what are the implications for those stats being what they are?

Does this imply Zygarde Complete will not be as powerful as imagined above?
>>
>>26925319
Simply that it's 180 base hp when transforming from 10% form and 216 when transforming from 50%.
Many speculated 227 base, which simply isn't true
>>
>>26925328
So its base HP depends on which forme it began as?
>>
>>26925308
One, the Zygarde shown their exactly matches a 31IV Zygarde under the old stats, apparently. Not too sure what nature it would be.

But, two, even if they did, that just means 100% Zygarde is even more ridiculous.
>>
>>26925339
Yes.
It's directly related to the percentage name of the previous form.
x2 for 50%
x10 for 10%

>Complete Zygarde is dependent on 50% form being put into a specific HP range

You guys do realize this will make it just an impractical gimmick, don't you?

More often than not Zygarde will never achieve 100% before fainting. Actually hitting the "in a pinch" sweet spot is pure luck.

>>
>>26925378
That seems just insane but it makes sense

>10%×10=100%

>>
>>26925401
Hopefully there will be an option to use Perfect Zygarde like a normal Pokemon, I hate these form change gimmicks. I just want a permanent option.
>>
>>26925528
I think that Perfect Zygarde would actually be way too powerful if you didn't even have to build a strategy to gain so much power at once.
>>
>>26925192
I am p sure both ivs and evs would be at 0 for this situation, in such case 10% would have 65 base hp, and 100% would be 227 base hp in my opinion
>>
>>26925641
Zygarde 50% was proven to be 31 ivs.
Do the fucking calculations.
We the stats for it.
Unless you're saying it looses ivs on transformation Zygarde 100% is fuckin confirmed for 180.
>>
>>26924127
I hate this thing so much. I hope it gets banished to AG or something.

>>
>>26925754
Weirder than 65 to 277?
Weirder than 108 to some number higher than 180 with suddenly no ivs?
18, 108, and 180 are very round predictable numbers.
>>
>>26925783
what's weird to me is that you get different base stats depending from what form you start with. if its supposed to be the complete form, it should have the same base stat, as its not missing anything.
>>
Does that confirm mega will have now a HP Boost ?
>>
>>26925846
I guess, but the video clearly showed the animation from 50 to 100 as more powerful with gusts of green and black wind.
>>
>>26925873
maybe they polished the transformation sequence between each of the videos
>>
>>26925939
maybe. that doesn't change the calculations, though.
The hp clearly doubles in the latest video and doesn't reach 227 base hp with even the lowest investment.
65 was the highest 10% could possibly be and it couldn't reach 227 base hp or 216 base hp by doubling it's hp stat.

18 base multiplying to 180 is simply the most logical and probable answer.
>>
>>26925976
still, different base stats depending of the starting form seems odd
>>
>>26926084
Okay, but it's also a new gen.
They'll probably explain it away like everything else.
>>
>>26926120
good point
>>
>>26926125
Still, Zygarde's gonna be something else when it comes out, amirite?
10%'s still probably going to be pretty good.
>>
>>26926171
yup, and with he two sneks im porting from gen VI i won't have to worry about choosing a single form
>>
>>26926225
I think there might e some way to change them in-game. I doubt they'll force a default form.
Aura Break is what I'm worried about...
>>
>>26926171
I imagine 10% will allow for simpler setups if it has significantly higher speed than 50%, since it'd have an easier time using Substitute if it were fast.

Both 10% and 50% could just go the way of Focus Sash though, and run Dragon Dance plus three attacks.
>>
>>26926254
Looks like Aura Break is simply replaced by Swarm Change.
>>
>>26926270
I could see that or 50% with weakness policy or leftovers or a bulky coil walbreaker.

>>26926282
I hope. I really hope they won't make it event exclusive like V-Create.
>>
>>26926254
Aura Break is one of, if not the most poorly conceived ability in the game. It's workable, but only if you REALLY push the issue.

If Swarm Change replaces it, i'll be glad.
>>
>>26926313
Hopefully, it was just a placeholder ability.
>>
>>26926365
I wonder if it'll be flatout replaced or if there will be a way to change it? Gamefreak seems loathe to just retcon stuff like that, though they have done it before.

I think the only time they ever just replaced an ability was Chandelure's hidden ability, though it was never actually available until after they changed what it was anyway. Other than that, I think a few Pokemon got additional abilities later?
>>
>>26925192
Pretty sure what we can get from this is 10% has base 54 HP, which is really a quarter of 100%'s 216, but it still fits the stat theme
>>
>>26926564
This the first video the Zygarde had 23 iv in hp this one had 31.
>>
>>26924147

Demonstartion Pokemon are always neutral natured with 0 stat investment I.v or e.v wise.
>>
>>26927242
We already know the stats for 50% Zygarde, so it had to have 31 IVs 0 EVs in that vid since it was 183 HP at L50

(Technically it could have less IVs with some EVs, but you get the idea)
>>
>>26927242
Zygarde 50% has 31 HP IVs. That HP stat isn't possible with 0 IVs and EVs.
>>
>>26927274
>>26927287

Odd, is this the first time Gamefreak changed this rule?
>>
>>26927295
Pretty sure there has been 31 IV pokemon in past demonstrations
>>
>>26927295
They kinda ditched it with ORAS.
Some IVs/EVs seemed to just be random, and the trailer for the primal forms had Kyogre with a perfect 31 IV/252 EVs.
