It's technically not confirmed.
It's obvious it's the case, but remember, Bulbapedo prides themselves on not being faster than light.
It's supposed to be encyclopedic so it makes sense not to put information that isn't 100% confirmed, even in cases where it is reasonable to believe the information.

Bulbapedia used to always have unofficial but confirmed info. Then after Serebii got official recognition from Nintendo, Pomf got pouty and has been trying to kiss TPCi/Nintendo's ass by not revealing leaked info. He even told people on Twitter to snitch to Nintendo about which stores broke XY's street date.
