But I am hoping there's a fierce dragon this gen. We haven't had one that really looked fearsome in-game since Garchomp. Hydreigon looked too fat to be intimidating, and that fucking slug needs no explanation.

Drampa hearkens back to the good old days when Dragon-types didn't have to be edgy as fuck to be considered cool. He is one of my favorite Dragon-types, along with the softer, gentler-looking Dragons of past generations, like Dragonite, Kingdra and Flygon.

Haxorus is fierce enough, and Druddigon toes the line between looking intimidating and looking retarded but that might be worth an honorable mention.

It took Nintendo, a Japanese company, LITERALLY TWO DECADES to make a dragon based on their own country's mythology. And you have a PROBLEM with that?Also, Goodra's based on the Lou Carcolh, one of many "wurm" dragons that were usually serpentine versions of other things. Without fug slug, there is no hope of cat dragons that can take down wild boar and horses or cute furry brown blue eyed caterpillar-esque things (admittedly, Diglett/Dugtrio) that are responsible for digging a sinkhole large enough to swallow an entire French regiment.
