Talking to the wrong guy here as I am a hardcore Machampfag.
The problem with Machamp getting a mega is that it has to compete with so many other fighting-type megas. And even then he also has to outcompete several non-fighting type megas.
Probably the only way he could compete now is to get something incredibly broken like Huge Power or something very gimmicky like a one-way No Guard.
So while I want my bro to become competitively relevant again, I'd rather it come by the forms of boosted move damages, expanded/fixed movepool and reworking its BSTs

Moreso BW2 but BW1 is seriously not the work of art it's made out to be even for a Pokemon game. IMO, XY had a better story overall even with its pacing problems. I just think BW had better themes. But it's just cool to hate every aspect of gen 6 without a second thought

Lysandre was the only member of team Flare you needed to remember. It was his story. The scientist's were basically just the sages only you got to actually battle them. They weren't really very important just like them. Xerosic was important but he was post game. Lysandre's goal isn't like Cyrus's except in very general terma., like if you were describing the plot in a very simplified way. And in that way pretty much every villain team after GSC is basically the same.
