Some people use the original 3ds which doesn't have amiibo abilities so they won't do that.

OK, I was really not sold on adding synchro evolution on top of gen VI mega evolution (I think it would be a bad move because it is mechanically unfocussed), but I'd love it if it was implemented as purely cosmetic Pokémon cosplay with Amiibos.
