I was thinking Houndoom, but I'd like other suggestions. Preferably something with less weaknesses.

Are you playing B2W2? Your team is already pretty balanced. If you want something with few weaknesses, a pure Electric type is handy. Dragon could be good, too, as neither Dragon nor Ice are common types, when it comes to both Pokemon and moves.

I'm actually playing OR, I recently got it. I was thinking about Kingdra because I know the person I'll be playing against loves Dragons and would never use Fairys. At the same (and obvious) time, I considered using a Fairy, but I haven't played since BW and down know which one I would use if I did.

If your friend "loves" dragons, expect at least 2 and some cheap ass moves.
