Favorite Director? Satoshi. Only games that weren't constant bombardments of annoying, useless NPCs and actually let you play the game were made by him.Favorite game is BW1 but seriously I hope Masuda fucking dies regardless.

Masuda made the series even more formulaic. That being said, I liked all the games he directed except for XY.
XY is by far the most dull pokemon game I've ever played. ORAS was definitely better than XY, even though it doesnt come close to E/HGSS/Plat/BW2.
If SuMo avoids XY's pitfalls, i'll be happy. Dont fuck this up Ohmori

I think ohmori couldn't unleash his full potential, because the games had to be remakes. The delta episode, was probably a little preview for the next gen, and I liked it very much. Nice music, zinnia and deoxys thing was really suprisefull. Dex nav is also pretty good, the only thing I hated were the portals. I understand they couldn't design 6 mio different caves/dungeons but at least it could be like platinum. You go through the portal, be in a little room with the sprite of the legendary. And hoopa should be somehow involved in the story!
