You also left out Magmortar, Rypherior and Tangrowth. They fall in the same case as Electivire, "let's just make it bigger and fatter!" A lot of obese /vp/oreons might identify with those evolutions but I hate them.

It's not as if you can find Diancie's Mega Stone just lying around, you have to have a Diancie first, then you can get its Stone. Diancie having a mega is just a nice little bonus for people who actually participate in the events. It's not like Mega-Diancie is super fucking broken like M-Fug, so I don't understand what the problem is.

I mean at the end of the day, I don't think there is a 'bad' Pokemon to give a Mega. That's almost Mega's saving grace over new evolutions to older mons -- I can get mad about Dusknoir existing but not an evolution to Bannette, it's illogical, but I understand that Mega's don't need logic and don't act as biological advancements of the lines, just a fun gimmick in battle.
