Oh, I see. Enjoy the challenge I guess. Train at the water route between Olivine and Cianwood. Tentacruel and the rare Mantine both give good amounts of experience. Also, go buy Fire Blast from Goldenrod dept store and teach it to Tauros. It will make Steelix much easier.

Has been really solid team so far, Electvire and Politoed destroying Lance with ice punch and ice beam respectively.
Chose team out of preferences and designs, as well as type coverage. Took lots of trading tms and using move tutors in other games to get movesets I want too.
FireRed with Randomized trainers, and Cubone as my starter.
Pidgey's so highly leveled because Cubone didn't actually learn any attack moves until level 9 and had to have switch-out training for four levels.

This is the team I recently used to beat Alpha Sapphire. It was a tri weather team built around using Castform.
and after a few minutes of training these are what their stats look like.
Also does anyone else like to overtrain whenever they play pokemon. I really dont like letting my pokemon faint

Doing a monobug run of White 2. Most of the way into Victory Road (Marill is there as a HM slave for this bit - it'd normally be Accelgor there). It's been really good so far - Larvesta was my starter & I made a rule for mons to only ever evolve after a big battle in which they were a key player. This led to shit like facing off against Drayden with Whirlipede, Marlon with Joltik & fucking Colress with Larvesta. Added a bit of challenge without the permadeath-anxiety of a Nuzlocke

Yeah, you can. I got mine to about lv30 and realised that they weren't worth the dead weight. I already had a decent counter for flying types, so really all he was used for was occasionally blasting a water type, and figured I'd rather have something else on my team. Ended up replacing him with that Seadra once I found one.

update, about to take on the Rocket HQ. I had lofty dreams of getting a Golduck but I'm starting to realize that unless you start with Squirtle, you're basically shit out of luck as far as water types go until you get the Good rod, minimum, bar Magikarp.

Nuzlocke on Moemon is excruciatingly heartbreaking.
I'm actually looking for suggestions for my team to be honest. I'm going to be starting the Twitch Plays Pokemon Crystal hack and I've never played it before. I haven't really spoiled myself on it but from I understand you go from Kanto to Johto. Could I get some fun unique recommendations to go through the game with? I may or may not dump my starter based on suggestions since I've used the original three too many times to count.
