Collecting could easily be combined with a house decoration feature though. Rather than cramming Pokemon in a PC, I always wished I could put 2-3 of them into my mom's care and have them living at home. Crystal was my first game and it was awesome saving money with mom and getting Pokedolls to decorate your room, it would be fucking cool if they brought back family features like that. I honestly loved that in X and Y that you can change the bottom fighting screen, and that you can't in Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire.
In Diamond and Pearl, the bottom screen was always the same, but in Platinum, it changed to fit the top screen's background.

You get three models for surfing, each with different speeds. Wailord (slow), Kyogre (regular), and Shar-hold-on-for-dear-life-pedo. Seriously, Sharpedo is insanely fast. It literally cuts encounter rates in half if you judge by distance because its so fast you can cross a small route before the game has time to trigger an encounter.

Why do people prefer the PWT to BF? BF gave actual changes to the standard battle formula, something to shake it up and make it fun after an entire playthrough. Masuda is not, no. It also had an extra year development time, which means S/M might be the first TRULY great games since B2/W2.
Masuda is leaving the franchise too, thank fuck.
Now hopefully, the rest of the developers can steer the franchise in a better direction, with less feature-removal (yes, Masuda was behind a LOT of that) and more substantial content in general.

Just cool to see the old characters and get a status update on what they've been doing. There were also a few special tournaments like monotype tournaments , rental tournaments, and mix up or some shit tournaments. PWT was very fun, and I sank many, many hours in to it. It certainly had less options than the BF, but it wasn't just standard battles.
It also had triple and rotation battles :^). I do actually miss rotation battles though. I can't believe triple battles get more love.
