I kinda always take my character for a 14~15 kid which has grown up in this world. so, she knows how shit works. out of that, I roll with whatever the game tells me and do with it.
no need to fancy self insert or convoluted origin stories, my character is the typical cynical teenager who secretly loves discovering new things and her pokemons. but don't tell the others, it's bad for her image.
well, that's how I played hilda, rosa and serena. the latest all dressed in black 'til she beat the e4 and then, suddenly changing everything to green~yellow including eye and hair color before taking the train. the old man still recognized her. fuckin perceptive old man.
