They arent even that expensive too, at lest for the type of figures they are. Stuff like that usually get placed in the 20-25 price range. So most are worth the purchase even for figure value.
My only beef for them is that they could widen their type of functions a bit more in future.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made Pokemon Amiibo cards. Combine the collectable nature of TCG with the collectable nature of Amiibo, and I think you've got a winner. Similar to the e-series, I think.
