Don't normally browse autism containment boards so apologies if this is a common question or some shit

Does anybody else limit their number of Pokemon to the same as the gym leader they're up against? I did it when I was younger to be just like the anime. I wish I still found the anime super badass ;_;

Sounds like you fit right in.

That's what I thought too. Try 'em, you might have a surprising amount of fun.

>habit I've had since childhood
>lol u have autism

Honestly wouldn't do it if I hadn't always done it, since I do acknowledge it's pretty damn dumb. I just wanted to see if others do too.

You reminding me that they exist made me decide to look around for my Alpha Sapphire just to try it out. I know there's a lot of variations, but what are the typical rules for it?
>>
>>26843869
catch first pokemon of each route, if pokemon faints, it dies/box it. if all pokemon faint, you lose. that's generally the base rule set I follow.

I do this, OP. It's actually really good for managing the level curve.

That's autism, you autist

I do this as well. I also use Battle Style Set and no healing items during battle, so every trainer battle feels more like I'm on even ground with my opponent.

4chan is an autism containment board
>>
My autism is different. They have to all be at the same level or really close.
>>
I usually just catch pokemons equal to the number of badges I have + 1.
Keeps the game from becoming too easy and makes sure I have a nice balanced team.
