What kind of Pokemon tend to be your favourite?
I like Pokemon that you need to really work on for them to become strong. Stuff like Magikarp, Feebas and most pseudolegends, you have to pour a ton of xp into them but the result is well worth it, and you're repaid for your dedication by a strong pokemon to steamroll the game with.
Extra points if they're a common shitmon like Zubat but evolve into something great through a lot of effort.

Gimmick pokemon are the best by far
Especially if they have a unique move

My favorite pokemon tend to be real animals but with exaggerated features, or based on obscure biology.

I like pokemon that take lots of effort or time to evolve into their final forms like Goodra, Noibat, Flygon, or Chandelure. It takes time, but you end up with a really good pokemon in the end.

I like almost all ghost and psychic types. I also really like derpy and cute 'mons (i.e. Slowpoke, Exeggcutor, Wooper, Wynaut, Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff, Popplio, etc). I also like a lot of grass types (Bulbasaur and Turtwig are my favorite starters), their designs are usually pretty creative.
I like snakes and snake-like pokemons.

Anon has good taste
I like gimicky pokemon, those mons that make you laugh hysterically when rolling over your friends team. Metronome Echo Voice Exploud, Pikachu Belle, Stored Power Clefable, Swagplay Klefki, those weird sets that are ultimately shit, but since Pokemon is more of a social thing in my area, tend to perform well if they don't k now how to counter it.
