I liked the Delta Episode. Better than the whole fucking game. If they incorporated those story elements into the entirety of ORAS, it would've wrapped X and Y up in a more neatly fashion with the whole Mega Evolution plot, rather than it just be a post game

This made good steps to redeaming the delta episode. It was still shit overall, fucking Zinnia, but this part, stand alone, was easily the best part of the game.
Immersion was broken instantly if you switched to something other than Fug, though.

Goosebumps when deoxys theme started playing when the artifact did the pattern you had to do in emerald. I haven't felt anything like that from a pokemon game since the lugia/ho-oh summoning. They nailed it in those remakes too.

Well, of course. It was by far the best part of the game, the only good thing about the Delta Episode, and is probably the second most exciting event in the series after the hour between stepping in Kanto and figuring out it was a wasteland.
It's unfortunate that they revealed it before the game came out, and doubly unfortunate that it had to be attached to ORAS. It felt like the only part of the game that they actually tried with.

I went into ORAS essentially blind. I new vague things about the original games but nothing really about new remake stuff.
Seeing the triangle moving and then Deoxys made me flip my shit for five minutes doing absolutely nothing and then caving in and using my masterball on the first turn.
Delta episode overall was pretty great and I don't really know why people complain about it.
