SO fellow froggers I finally got a protean frog, but after doing some quick research and extensive careful EV training, I found out that the IV's of this frog is absolute shit.
I don't know what to do with this frog and I figured I'd come here to ask what you guys think. Please help me out, I spent over a year just trying to get one and now that I have one I get only more failure.

You can pass abilities from parents. Just breed it down.

Inject it.
Edit it in PKHeX to make it good (i.e. natures, IVs, EVs, etc.) and if you can't access Homebrew just post a request on injection general and someone will take it
Greninja is banned in OU anyway, so it's not like you could use him competitively.

On Showdown, yes. On cartridge, not in the slightest. VGC and Battlespot are the definitive metas there, unless you want to argue that challenging random passerby and asking them to follow your rules holds the same status as a fully implemented ladder and matchmaking system.

I was trying to come off as not an asshole and now I get called an idiot for being ignorant on what ass hats keep banning pokemon on standard playing teams.
So besides OU I got that greninja at level 1 Froakie so it was hard to tell it's iv potential was without leveling it, so I leveled it while getting the evs up I don't see how that's a crime.
I just wanted some opinions on what I could do with this Froakie and I would rather keep it cheat free.

Female with Protean is fine breeding material, try and get a good IV'd Ditto to make a good frog

OK, here's some tips:
1) Get yourself some mons' with perfect IVs in Attack/Special Attack and Speed that share the same egg group as Greninja. If you want to make the frog a "super-frog", get yourself HP, Defense and Special Defense as well.
2) Breed down the mons with Greninja. Thankfully, your Greninja is female, so every egg will be a Froakie. Keep breeding till' you get a female Froakie with Protean, a good nature (Timid and Jolly are the usual best) and some perfect IVs. Remember that Everstone allows you to pass down natures, the Power items allow you to pass down a single stat connected with it and Destiny Bond to pass 5 stats to the offspring.
3) Once you chain-breed all this shit, you should have a good competitive Greninja. See if you can get Pokerus to EV train faster.
