I have no clue what the fuck you;re talking about in regards to pokemon, but the shrimp thing was a real creature back in the days of the very first fishlike organisms. I can't remember it's name though sadly, it's a shame because I thought it was cool as fuck but my geology lessons kind of skimped over all the fun stuff.
This post is clearly to fish but I can see a Fossil shrimp and sea cucumber being a thing for Alola, but their typings would both be Rock/Water and we already have enough of those, also the fossil Pokemon always has one with a stronger than than the other

To be fair, megalodon isn't that special looking, it's gigantic, but aside from that it just looks like a stockier great white, and real life size doesn't play that big of a role when an animal is made into a pokémon.

Anyone know about Evoltilea in Yugioh? We still don't have fossils that represent the weird lizards that aren't quite dinosaurs but ARE reptiles and not the even stranger Cambrian type stuff. Closest was Archeops and Carracosta but they were still pretty identifiable. I've seen Elginerpeton in some other things too (Etrian Odyssey I think?) so it must be known enough.
