Why was it chosen to be the lesser of the seaside exclusives? I like Clauncher, but Skrelp has the better design, arguably.
Dragalge is better than Clawitzer anyways.
What do you mean? What makes it lesser? Because it wasn't somebody ace or something?

In what ways?
>>26827436
It's not nearly as recognized or used.
>>26827450
What are you talking about? How so? Dragalge is actually better than Clawitzer. Like far and away so if you mean how good it is. And even if it weren't why would it have been "Chosen" to be worse.
Obviously a matter of opinion, but I like Clauncher's design a lot better.
Lame sea horse or awesome gun Pokemon?
I think I choose Clauncher.
Just gonna be a that jerk for a second and let everyone know that even though we're speaking to each other via text right now, it's still pronounced Drah-gal-gee. Y'know, as in algae.
Carry on.
>>26827546
Is that not how everyone already pronounces it?
>>26827557
I definitely hear Drah-galge a lot. Understandable if you don't know where that part of the name comes from.
>>26827546
I always thought the name made more sense with gee but I felt like if that was the intention they'd have SPELT it like algae or made it ee like Dragalgee or something.
>>26827557
Some people pronounce it with a silent E. Drag-alj.

>>26827514
Anyway, unneeded pronunciation lesson aside.... Dragalge will always be leagues cooler to me than Clauncher. It's just kind of a generic-but-well-design shrimp with a gun arm. Eh.
And don't get me wrong either Clauncher's cool, it's just not for me. I like the piratey look to it and the Cthulhu mouth.
>>26827584
It could be worse - you could have a loud annoying coursemate pronouncing it Draygaylj
>>26827415
Both Dragalge and Clawitzer were some of the few good designs we got in gen 6.
>>26827415
Literally my moms pet fishes decorative plant.
>>26827557
I can't help but say Drah-gal-guh
>>26827843
Literally my mom's leafy sea dragon.
