couldn't decide on a colour theme because autism but here it is. the IV checker ball! a ball that glows with intensity based on how good a wild pokemon's IV's are. it glows in your bag and you can inspect it before you throw.
however it doesn't tell you which IVs are good. to balance it, i've considered making it only detect up to 3 maxed IVs. not meant to be an alternative to breeding, but rather a tool for progressing through the story. if anything, it lets you set your own difficulty, choosing to train a weak or strong pokemon.
naturally, you wouldn't normally be able to get this ball easy. it's either the rarity of a wild rare candy or only obtainable through sidequests. with this i guess nuzlockes are easier and uh...that's about it. i'm not really good at this kinda thing.
